Chrissy King – Doughnuts, Racism and Taking Up Space
This week we're talking to Chrissy King. Chrissy King is strength and nutrition coach, powerlifter, self-proclaimed truth teller, and writer with a passion for intersectional fitness. She empowers women to stop shrinking, start taking up space, and use their energy to create their specific magic in the world. When she’s not serving her clients by empowering them to create stress-free and sustainable lifestyles and feel confident and empowered in their skin, she spends her time reading, traveling, and hanging with friends and family.
In this episode we talk about our mutual love for doughnuts, defying traditional standards of beauty, why fitness/wellness professional's role goes far beyond exercise & nutrition and her passion for helping women take up space in the world and let go of narratives that no longer serve them. It gets JUICY!
